Police are investigating a shooting inside a BART train near the Lake Merritt station in Oakland, the transit agency said.
The shooting happened on a train from Dublin / Pleasanton to Daly City at around 1:25 p.m., police said. One person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and the shooter is still at large, police said, adding they believe it was a targeted attack.Stay informed about local news and weather.
