The man was taken to Queen's Medical Centre
A man has been left with a fractured jaw after being attacked by a group of youngsters in a Nottinghamshire town, police have said. The 38 year old man was visiting Newark with his girlfriend on Thursday, July 13 when the incident happened.
Nothing was stolen from the pair, and the man was taken to Queen's Medical Centre where he was treated for a fractured jaw. Following the incident, officers are following numbers of lines of inquiry, including checking CCTV.It is understood that there were up to six individuals in the group, and the main instigator was described as being around 15 years old, wearing black joggers and a black jumper.
