Tragic. RIP
A man has died after police were called to the M65 to reports of a concern for welfare. Lancashire Constabulary said they were called just before 2pm today to a bridge between Junctions 11 and 14.
The motorway was closed and upon arrival emergency services found a man had fallen from the bridge. Police have confirmed he has since died. A police spokesperson said: "We were called at 1.55pm to a bridge over the M65 between Junctions 11 and 14 to reports of concern for welfare. Emergency services attended and found a man had fallen from the bridge."He has since sadly died. His family are being supported and our thoughts are with them at this very difficult time."
