Police have arrested suspected members of an organised crime gang on suspicion of high value thefts from stores. Officers pulled over a Mercedes E Class car on the M1 eastbound yesterday afternoon and seized a number of items.
The ANPR intercept team believed that the three men in the car were involved in raids on shops in the Cookstown and Antrim areas. A post from the Northern Ireland Policing and Safety Facebook page: "This Mercedes E Class was stopped on the M1 Eastbound, Friday afternoon by the ANPR Intercept Team after it and its occupants were believed to be involved in high value thefts from stores in the Cookstown and Antrim area.
