Police appeal for help identifying a man found dead in the River Mersey in Stockport
Police are appealing to the public for help identifying a man who was found dead in the River Mersey in Stockport.
He is described as a white male, wearing dark coloured walking trousers with a nylon belt, socks but no shoes. The man also had "distinctive tattoos" on his upper arm that say 'Rachel', another tattoo on his right lower arm of a bulldog and a Union Jack and another on the left side of his chest, which says 'Jodie', say police.There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the man's death, Greater Manchester Police has confirmed.
