The three-bedroom houses will be over three stories and will face out onto Water Lane – with each property having a garden at the rear. The Telford & Wrekin Council’s highways department supported the plans subject to the conditions that additional traffic calming measures were implemented. “Introducing some traffic calming in the vicinity of the proposed access is needed. This way we would be able to bring the speeds down, so they are commensurate with the visibility splay available as you look right from the proposed access . It would also allow the local highways authority to increase pedestrian safety by introducing a crossing to the entrance into the Victoria Park play area.”
