College football and music fans have a fun-filled weekend coming up.
Before the game kicks off at the “Palace on Prairie,” thousands of fans will be making their way to Los Angeles’ Banc of California Stadium to experience “AT&T Playoff Playlist Live!” – a free music event with well known and upcoming artists. The College Football Playoff will host two free, live-concerts for fans ahead of the national championship game on Monday, Jan. 9, at SoFi Stadium. Victoria Sumrall, senior producer at the Solomon Group, which is producing the live events, said she is looking forward for the energy fans bring to the concerts, national championship game and other fan events.
Gates for “AT&T Playoff Playlist Live!” will open at 6 p.m. each day for those who pre-registered for event tickets online. The capacity for the venue is 22,000 people but tickets for the two-day event were sold out within 24 hours when announced so there will be a full house both nights, Sumrall said.
