Looking for some extra festive magic this Christmas? Well, a hugely popular historic village not too far from the city is hosting its own winter wonderland complete with Santa's Grotto.
A picture-perfect village just 50 minutes' drive from Glasgow has announced the return of a magical festive experience this Christmas. New Lanark will launch its winter wonderland complete with an ice rink and Santa's Grotto on November 24, with bookings for the Christmas event now open.
Santa Claus will be returning to his enchanting Grotto, where every child will receive a special gift and get the chance to share their Christmas wishes. The market will be open every weekend from Saturday, November 25.
Heritage and engagement manager, New Lanark, Andy Cuthbertson, added: “We are delighted to bring back our Christmas Experience to New Lanark, bigger and better than ever before with the exciting addition of a brand-new ice rink.
