Did you know Phoebe Dynevor and Rege-Jean Page starred in an ICONIC British TV show before Bridgerton?
These days she might be best known as the romantic lead in series one of Netflix’s smash hit period drama, but Phoebe Dynevor – daughter of Coronation Street’s Sally – got her first acting break as a fresh-faced teen in long-running BBC drama Waterloo Road.
She had a relatively normal upbringing and explored acting in school before pursuing work as a child actor whilst studying for her GCSEs and A Levels . Also appearing on the show alongside Phoebe at the time was Jenna Coleman as Linsday James, who’s also gone onto have an incredible career. "When you watch people’s success, you don’t see all the letdowns. But the rejection makes you tougher.
"She's found what she's looking for — she's had a baby, she's a wife and mother. There's a real confidence and womanhood about her this season."
