The ethics board regularly investigates and fines establishment-backed Philadelphia politicians, and many of those politicians have been critical of the board over the years. The board, for instance, has previously fined several of Brown’s opponents in the mayor’s race. ”The allegations in the Board’s emergency petition for injunctive relief is based on facts and evidence,” Creamer said. “We know what Jeff Brown did last summer. What facts and evidence is Jeff Brown’s accusation against the Board based upon?”
