Philipp Plein's fall 2023 collection is here. View every look:
Two years after his last, eve-of Covid full-on show, Philipp Plein returned to Milan for a mainline hoedown tonight—and it was business as usual. Around 100 models hit 350 meters of runway as ersatz-NASA spacesuit clad motorcyclists zoomed up and down. Bia played live at the finale: she had been supposed to join Plein on one of the bikes at the finale before revealing an aversion to them 20 minutes before showtime, so plans were changed.
Womenswear came before men’s. Most models wore a stetson of some sort under which were silver cowboy boots, a wide check overcoat, patched denim, faux fur crop tops and sequined miniskirts, fringe-backed donkey jackets, silver shearlings, a pink two-button cocoon coat with a Swarovski skull at the back, a sexy saloon girl outfit with double-hemmed plissé skirt, printed faux furs, and Swarovski tailoring. And all this in just the first three looks .
