With just about a week away from the first day of school, the Philadelphia School District is helping students and families get motivated and prepared for the upcoming year. Ring the Bell PHL is just one of the many events the district is offering to students. They partnered with the Phillies on Monday to showcase how after school programming and sports can help young people in the classroom. NBC10’s Miguel Martinez-Valle recaps the event.
