The PGA Tour used to have three tournaments as part of its Asia swing. Now it's down to one. The Zozo Championship in Japan features PGA Tour players and Japan Golf Tour players. Leading the way is Xander Schauffele. He won the Olympic gold medal in Japan two years ago.

A “wild card” spot was reserved for anyone who finished in the top 10 last week who was not among the top 72.

Rod Pampling ends a marathon day at SAS Championship with 2nd PGA Tour Champions victoryRod Pampling is heading into the PGA Tour Champions postseason with a victory. Pampling had a marathon Sunday in the SAS Championship. He had to play 33 holes because of rain. Pampling finished off the second round with back-to-back birdies for a 68 to take the lead. And then he shot 67 in the afternoon to win by two shots over Steven Alker.

Tom Kim wins in Las Vegas for the 2nd time in the same PGA Tour seasonTom Kim is a winner in Las Vegas again. It was a wild finish in the Shriners Children's Open. At one point there was a six-way tie for the lead with 12 players separated by one shot. Kim emerged with a 66 to defeat Adam Hadwin by one shot. It's his third PGA Tour title at age 21. He's the youngest to do that since Tiger Woods.
