The “Manningcast” has become one of the premier destinations for NFL storytime, and Monday’s installment was no different.
In a video unearthed by NFL reporter Dov Kleiman, Binn — who was elected to the 2006 Pro Bowl — recounted his series of events during an appearance“First practice, which is like nothing, you just kind of like stretch, mess around a little bit and walk off the field. I’m coming off and I’m walking by Bill, and he looks at me and he’s like, ‘Hey, where’s your girlfriend?’ I said, ‘Oh, Pam? She didn’t come out.’ He goes, ‘Remind me why the f–k I invited you out here then?'” Binn said.
Binn, who reportedly dated the “Baywatch” star in 2007 and 2008, recalled Belichick giving him “this deadpan look” over his Anderson-less response.Chargers long snapper David Binn during a game in December 2009.“I thought he was kidding, but he didn’t crack a smile, and then I was like, ‘Wait, is he serious?'” Binn said. “I just walked off, I couldn’t figure it out.”
When asked on the podcast if he said anything back to Belichick, Binn responded, “I think I just laughed it off, and I was like, ‘Wait, he really wanted me to bring Pam. S–t, should I call her right now?'” Binn played for the Chargers from 1994 through 2010. He also had a brief stint with the Broncos in early 2012.
