In fact, just like Travis Barker who was forced to cancel a recent gig, the singer had to do the same thing for kidney surgery.Peter also chats about his daughter's recent transformation, Junior's upcoming single, and the heatwave in the UK.
I once had kidney surgery days before a nationwide arena tour. I was petrified of cancelling or postponing some dates, but had no choice. But that was when I met Emily’s dad, who operated on me which led to meeting my lovely wife. She sweetly sent me a message asking if it was ok to get it done. I replied, “Sweetie, you’re 16 not 12.” I care about their health, safety, education etc. I don’t want to sweat the small stuff. She’s a good, gentle soul.
I will always encourage him to have full artistic freedom. He might ask for my opinion, but it’s important that any approval goes through him so he has full control of what he’s doing.
