Peta has demanded Ant and Dec resign from I’m A Celebrity…, claiming they're 'complicit in animal cruelty'.

In a letter sent to the popular presenters on Thursday, the group told the pair: ‘For too long, you have been complicit in cruelty to animals on the show, and it must end.’ The group warned that ‘the longer you associate yourselves with this show, the more you send the message to viewers that you think animal abuse is not only acceptable but entertaining. Leaving I’m A Celebrity would signal to the show’s producers that people aren’t going to stand for senseless cruelty to animals anymore and that it’s time to change.’Peta finished by urging: ‘So please, hang up your hats and get yourselves out of there – for animals’ sake.
Slamming the producers who haven’t changed the format in 20 years, White said they could ‘easily come up with some other captivating tasks that don’t harm animals, but they’re choosing to drag their heels instead.’ ‘In previous years when it’s been filmed in Australia we’ve seen ostriches, crocodiles, snakes, rats, thousands of insects be exploited.
