A person has been hit by a train between Edinburgh and Newcraighall this afternoon
. Trains were cancelled following the incident as emergency crews rushed to the scene around 2.50pm on Saturday.
ScotRail is currently working to get trains and staff back into position after emergency services confirmed it was safe to run trains shortly after 3pm.View gallery They tweeted: "Due to the emergency services dealing with an incident between Edinburgh and Newcraighall all lines are closed. Train services between Edinburgh and North Berwick will be suspended."
