An independent Pentagon panel found that the military should stop selling guns to troops under the age of 25 to address the rising rates of suicides by members of the armed forces.The Suicide Prevention and Response Independent Review Committee was formed in March 2020 to address the rising rates of suicides by members of the armed forces.
