The cases of Chelsea Manning, Julian Assange and Edward Snowden are again under scrutiny after the latest disclosure of classified documents, which has led to the arrest of 21-year-old national guardsman Jack Teixeira.

Its security measures included routinely monitoring and auditing classified computer networks"to detect, monitor, and analyse anomalous user behaviour for indicators of misuse".
