Woman mauled to death by 'out-of-control banned dog'
A WOMAN in her 70s has died after being mauled by "an out of control and banned" dog in Warwickshire.
The pensioner was rushed to hospital following the attack in Bedworth at around 3.50pm on Friday but she could not be saved.A 52-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of possession of a banned breed of dog and owning a dog dangerously out of control. The woman is currently in hospital and being treated for an injury sustained by the dog during the attack on Kathleen Avenue.The man has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
