Penny Lancaster got stuck into her police work today as she helped locals in Northolt ahead of the Queen’s arrival in London.
Her plane touched down at RAF Northolt where Lancaster was pictured conducting her police work and chatting to members of the public lining the streets, at one point sharing jokes and laughing with the crowd.Lancaster was seen kindly helping a member of the public in a wheelchair She was spotted chatting to members of the local community
During her appearance on Good Morning Britain this week, the TV presenter announced she will be on duty for the historic event and voiced her honour. ‘I signed the oath of Office of Constable to Her Majesty the Queen just over a year ago, April last year, and just as the seamless tie between Her Majesty and King Charles III, my oath will now be with the King,’ she told hosts Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid.A hearse carrying the Queen’s coffin landed at RAF Northolt before making the journey to Buckingham Palace
