Penny Hardaway Signs Extension With Memphis Through 2028 - RealGM Wiretap
Penny Hardaway signed an extension to remain the head coach of the Memphis Tigers through the 2028 season.
"As I have said many times, this is a dream position for me, and I do not take it for granted," said Hardaway of the extension. Hardaway holds a 84-43 record through four seasons as head coach, and lead the Tigers to their first NCAA tourney appearance in eight years last season. Hardaway will be paid $2.5 million this season, and will receive a $100,000 raise every year until 2028.
