PETA challenged 'The Chicken Man' of Philadelphia to go vegan. He said no.
Fox 29 had previously reported
how Philadelphia resident Alexander Tominsky gained viral acclaim for being “The Chicken Man” when news broke on social how he had eaten nothing but rotisserie chickens for over a month. Tominsky had gotten so much attention, in fact, that the same Fox 29 article detailed how hundreds of people came out to watch him eat chicken number 40 on an abandoned pier in the southern part of the city.
“I think people saw that it was pure and that it wasn’t coming from a pretentious place,” later told Tominsky to the news station. “It was just someone that literally was eating chicken, and they used that as an outlet to unite.”that animal rights activist group, PETA, caught wind of The Chicken Man’s story and challenged him to go vegan, offering him a free vegan meal starter kit to boot.
“To counteract the 40 chickens I consumed, I plan to never eat chicken again. I also plan to cut back on the meat I eat but to choose a vegan lifestyle, I will not commit to it.
