.Mike_Pence squabbled with a group of Trump supporters as he arrived at a campaign event on Friday evening. “Why didn’t you uphold the constitution?” the protesters yelled at Pence. “I upheld the constitution,” he shot back. “Read it!”
As Pence arrived in New Hampshire for a town hall event, a group of about a dozen Trump supporters yelled out at the former vice president, calling him a “sellout” and “traitor.” The small protest came just one day after Donald Trump pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from his efforts to overturn the 2020 election, which included the former president urging his No. 2 to invalidate his loss.
