A pedestrian trying to cross Highway 6 North was struck and killed by a car Saturday night.
A Volkswagen Atlas was driving north on Highway 6 and struck the pedestrian in the 9000 block, investigator for the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Mohammad Ahmad said. The pedestrian, a male in his 20s, died in the hospital.The driver remained at the scene and did not show any signs of impairment, Ahmad said.
