The longtime coach, who wrapped up her 26th year with Pearland, led the Lady Oilers to their third state championship.

“This would not be possible without the players, support from parents, the community and my administration,” Clark said. “It certainly would not be possible without the hard work, dedication, loyalty and love for Lady Oiler softball that my coaching staff shows on a daily basis.” Pearland’s first title came in 1996, and a Clark-coached team won the state crown in 2010. She also helped produce state-tournament qualifying teams in 2009, 2011 and 2016.
Inducted into the Texas Girls Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2021, Clark has a sparkling 687-226-3 coaching record at Pearland.
