Madonna, Pearl Jam cancel shows amid coronavirus fears
Several music artists, including Madonna, Pearl Jam and Pentatonix, are nixing shows amid coronavirus concerns.
France reported 1,209 cases as of Monday, the second-largest number of cases in Europe after Italy. So far, 19 people in France have died.Madonna wasn't alone in canceling her tour stops for safety concerns. Pearl Jam soon followed suit Monday, announcing the postponement of its North American tour.

The group added that they are working to rescheduling these performances and that fans should hold onto their tickets in the meantime.Carlos Santana has canceled concerts because of public health concerns and performance restrictions due to the growing coronavirus outbreak. "I am so disappointed to not be there, but I have to do what is right to protect the health and safety of my band and crew," she tweeted Monday."I’m sorry to miss everyone in Australia, but I will be back soon."
