Lenford Lloyd White was behind bars at HMP Manchester when he fell ill
A jailed paedophile who plied a teenage girl with drugs before forcing her to have sex died after falling ill in prison.
An investigation into his death was launched on May 26, 2020. According to the Record of Inquest, White had first undergone abdominal surgery for a suspected small bowel obstruction in May 2019, where he had his inflamed appendix removed. He was discharged back to prison. However, it was heard that the tear delayed further treatment by six months, contributing to his weakness.
