Jim Magilton says patience was key to Cliftonville landing former Tottenham Hotspur prospect Sam Ashford.
The 27-year-old, who has made two appearances for England at C international level, began his career in the Tottenham Hotspur Academy.Ashford becomes new manager Magilton's fifth signing of the summer, and should be available for Saturday's massive clash with champions Larne at Solitude.
