Police say that speed and alcohol could have been factors in a fatal crash in Aurora.
A single-vehicle crash in Aurora early Friday seriously injured the car’s driver and killed its passenger, police say.
Officers were called to a crash in the area of East 16th Avenue and North Dallas Street around 12:30 a.m. Friday, according to a news release from the Aurora Police Department. Investigators believe that a Mitsubishi SUV was speeding east on East 16th and lost control, according to a news release. The car rolled and collided with a parked, unoccupied sedan.
