A party in the making since August 2020 will take place Monday as the new Aurora Public Library District bookmobile comes home.
The library is having a pop-up party bright and early from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday in the Santori Library parking lot at River and Benton streets in downtown Aurora.Making its way from Greensboro, North Carolina, the state-of-the-art electric bookmobile has been long anticipated.
These systems have been used before in heavy-duty trucks and commercial vehicles, but this is first time these elements have been installed in a bookmobile, according to library officials.
