Ash trees in North Northamptonshire country parks will be felled to combat ash dieback disease.
Trees infected with ash dieback will be removed from a borough's parks in a bid to halt the spread of the disease.
Ash dieback is a fungus that grows on leaves on the ground and produces small white mushroom-like growths. NNC said the priority would be removing infected trees that were close to footpaths, roads and houses and posed a high health and safety risk in King's Wood Local Nature Reserve, Irchester Country Park and East Carlton Countryside Park.
