If anyone has done Paris Fashion Week in style this season, it’s Pamela Anderson. Whether she was attending The Row’s spring/summer 2024 show – where she accessorised her oversized pinstripe suiting with freshly-scrubbed skin – or sitting front row and bare-faced at Vivienne Westwood, her every appearance has been marked by her luminous, make-up free complexion.
Seeing someone as well known as Anderson attending high-profile events entirely make-up free is refreshing to say the least – particularly when you note her palpable air of confidence. Oscar-winner Jamie Lee Curtis was so energised by Anderson’s “act of courage and rebellion” that she took to Instagram over the weekend to celebrate the act of going make-up free.
“THE NATURAL BEAUTY REVOLUTION HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN!” she enthused. “In the middle of fashion week, with so many pressures and postures… this woman showed up and claimed her seat at the table with nothing on her face. I am so impressed and floored by this act...”Seeing women supporting women this way , is also heartening.
