With veteran wide receiver Mike Williams out for the season with a torn left ACL, Joshua Palmer and Quentin Johnston will be asked to pick up the slack in the Los Angeles Chargers' passing game.
The Chargers are second in the league in total offense and third in passing yards .
After having four catches for 17 yards in the first two games, Palmer had 66 yards on four receptions against the Vikings. Johnston has been in for only 48 of the Chargers’ 215 offensive plays and has five catches for 26 yards. Johnston admitted that the lack of snaps and the learning curve have been frustrating at times, but he said he is getting more comfortable.
