PEMA, Pennsylvania State Police, PennDOT and more said the agencies are planning ahead to keep things safe and functioning for the people who do need to be on the roads.

Cities such as Bradford and Warren could see 12-18 inches of snow, but predictions drop off quickly from there. From Coudersport down to Somerset, 8-12 inches of snow are expected, dropping to 4-6 inches from LaPorte to Bedford. Thomas said if you don’t have to travel during the high-impact times, please consider changing plans. These high impact times include when snow is the heaviest, dropping 2 inches an hour.
PennDOT Acting Executive Deputy Secretary Melissa Batula said that both speed and vehicle restrictions are expected for the areas with the highest impacts.
