A jury found Henry Konah Koffie, 37, guilty of selling furanyl fentanyl powder that led to the overdose deaths of two men in Portland and one near-fatal overdose of a Portland State University freshman.

searched the dark net on his Toshiba laptop in 2014 and ordered a tutorial and video titled: “How to Ship Drugs Stealthy.”

He marketed “China White” powder for $40 a gram on an anonymous online site using the monikers “DMNKingpin” and “NarcoBoss,” with a booking photo of Mexican drug lord Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán as his profile picture, testimony showed. Homeland Security Investigations agent Guy Gino testified how he found the URLs for postage purchased for the drug packages on Koffie’s laptop seized from his home.

“It’s good to know there was some justice,” David Curtis told The Oregonian/OregonLive Tuesday night. He said he was never contacted about the trial proceeding in Portland. This image of his moniker "DNMKingpin" over a bag of powdered fentanyl was found on Henry Koffie's laptop that was searched by investigators.

On the night of May 2, 2016, she came back to her dorm room, was drinking hard cider, had a friend over and snorted some white powder she got from a friend.. A year later on May 6, 2017, a roommate found 27-year-old Wallace Curtis, a musician who also worked as a sous chef at Punch Bowl Social Portland, face down on the floor of his bedroom at their Southeast Portland apartment.

An autopsy ruled the cause of death as furanyl fentanyl and 4-ANPP intoxication. Retired Oregon Medical Examiner Karen Gunson testified that the fentanyl alone would have caused Curtis’ death. His dad said he wasn’t aware of the full extent of his son’s drug use. He learned of son’s death in a call from the medical examiner’s office. “It was devastating,” he said. “I was torn up.”
