Gremling, of Jim Thorpe, is the co-owner of The Woods Camping Resort, whose website identifies it as a “membership-only LGBTQIA+, clothing optional camping resort.”

According to the report, the charges, which were filed by New Jersey’s Little Egg Harbor Police Department on Jan. 24, came two weeks after Gremling was arrested by Pennsylvania State Police for “allegedly assaulting a middle schooler at The Woods in 2011.” It said that both sets of charges stem from separate incidents that involved the same child.

The alleged victim reportedly told authorities that Gremling told them “congratulations” after he had finished with that assault. Gremling’s first arrest, according to the report, came on Jan. 9 after Pennsylvania State Police “wiretapped a 30-minute phone call between the resort owner and his accuser.” During the call, according to the report, police said Gremling made “several admissions” which paved the way for their charges against him.

Gremling reportedly has a preliminary hearing in Pennsylvania scheduled for March 2 in the Carbon County Courthouse. Note to readers: if you purchase something through one of our affiliate links we may earn a commission.
