They continue: "Like most of the tracks we write, we really dug in to have the song not be confined to a specific genre. We like to take things that have always inspired us and create something different. It was really dope working with SonyATV's producer IKENNA FuNkEN. We took the bounce and low end 808's of hip-hop, mixed it with grungy guitars, live and processed drum sounds, to give you a grimy, pretty, salty and sweet sound.
