Nope, instead he was still ranting and raving about the election being stolen from him and that Jan. 6 was a “beautiful day.” Then he joked about the Carroll case, causing his adoring hand-picked audience to laugh, cheer and clap. When he lashed out at the female moderator calling her a “nasty woman,” again there was cheering and clapping.
Trump’s hour-long rambling was mean-spirited insanity filled with lies. His audience seemed delighted by his extreme statements. I, on the other hand, cringed in disbelief and felt sick to my stomach.I’m not sure that these Trump fans understood that it was not a comedy show. It’s serious and it’s scary.I wish someone would ask Donald Trump, the master businessman, these two questions.
Even early in 2020, he said the election was going to be rigged.
And if Joe Biden can swindle him, how can we as a country be assured he won’t be swindled by other world leaders?
