La leyenda del cine Sophia Loren se recupera de una exitosa cirugía tras sufrir una fractura en la pierna después de caer en su casa en Suiza, dijo el lunes una agente de la actriz italiana de 89 años.
Loren se cayó en un baño el domingo y la cirugía se realizó ese mismo día, djo la agente Andrea Giusti en un correo electrónico. La operación “resultó muy buena y ahora sólo queda esperar”, dijo Giusti.No estaba claro de inmediato cuándo le darían el alta.
La artista vive desde hace décadas en una villa suiza cerca del lago Lemán. A principios de este mes, apareció radiante junto al diseñador italiano Giorgio Armani en Venecia en un desfile de moda celebrado en el marco del festival de cine anual de la ciudad.Loren celebró la semana pasada su cumpleaños 89. Estaba previsto que se presentara en un restaurante que lleva su nombre en Bari, ciudad del sur de Italia, pero su caída obligó a cancelar el evento.
