Opening statements have been delayed in the federal trial of former Theranos President Sunny Balwani after a juror was exposed to COVID.
ABC News Chief Legal Analyst Dan Abrams says it's"unlikely" Balwani will testify in his trial.
"If you think about what her story was, her story was it was all him. 'He's the one who manipulated me. I was the victim, I was naive.' That's a different kind of narrative than for him. he was much more experienced, he was older, those are factors that would weigh against him testifying in this case," said Abrams. She will be sentenced after Balwani's trial is complete. That will be sometime in September.
