A Spring veteran who works as a nurse at the VA hospital was in the right place at the right time when a man stopped in her driveway and said he had been shot and feared he was being followed.
ABC13 spoke to a woman who said she put a tourniquet on the victim. She said he told deputies he was meeting up with a man to sell a phone when he was shot.A man says he was shot in the leg over the purchase of a cellphone before he ended up outside of a woman's home in Spring on Monday morning.
The shooting reportedly happened several streets away, but the victim managed to drive to Morgan Park Lane. That's where he ended up in the driveway of the one person qualified to treat his gunshot wounds. Surveillance video from Roberts' home shows the SUV going fast down Morgan Park Lane. The street is a cul-de-sac, so he had to go past Roberts' home one more time, and that's when things turned chaotic.The answer was "yes" because Roberts is a nurse. She's also a veteran and works at the VA hospital.
