Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., said Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg 'was not receptive' to his suggestion that he sell Instagram and WhatsApp.
"I said to him, prove that you're serious about data. Sell WhatsApp and sell Instagram," Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., told reporters outside his office Thursday afternoon immediately following his private discussion with Zuckerberg.
Hawley said he suggested to Zuckerberg directly that he make Facebook's procedures open to an independent third party audit after discussing aby doctors of a video by an anti-abortion activist.
