An Uber spokesperson confirmed the exit and added in a statement:"We are grateful for Jeremy's contributions over the years and wish him all the best." The company did not comment on Fine's next move. A person familiar with the matter said Fine was leaving for a new role as an executive at a startup in the crypto space.
Uber's corporate development team is fairly lean by tech company standards at fewer than 10 people. The previous head of the unit, Madhu Kannan, quietly left the group last year.
