One man was killed and three were injured in a quadruple shooting in Newark early Sunday morning, officials said.
Newark Police were called to the 300 block of Orange Street just before 3 a.m. for a reported shooting, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office said on Sunday. Julius K. Ferguson, 38, of Newark, was pronounced dead on the scene at 3:20 a.m., prosecutor’s office said. Three other men were taken to University Hospital with injuries of undisclosed severity.
