A spokesperson for the police department confirmed the two injured officers responded to a shots fired call in the 4600 block of Governors House Drive that injured a woman.
The injured officers were taken to Huntsville Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The woman injured was also transported to Huntsville Hospital.
