It was a long wait. And the wait got a little longer when Steve Kerr’s starting lineup was revealed. Curry, who was on a minutes restriction due to a foot sprain that kept him out of the final ten games of the regular season, was replaced by Poole, who was getting his first playoff start. Exciting. But Chase is a different feeling from the last time the Warriors were in the playoffs, at Oracle.
Winning Game 1 of a series is always important. And the Warriors were reminded of how a series can change right from the get-go, when two home teams - Memphis and Dallas - lost earlier in the day.
