The OL Reign have re-signed attacker Megan Rapinoe through the 2023 NWSL season, the club announced. Rapinoe, 37, is returning for her 11th season with the team.
Rapinoe has been with the Reign since the club’s inaugural campaign in 2013 and is just one of 10 players to make at least one appearance in every NWSL season. Her 100 career Reign appearances, including 81 starts, are the fourth most in team history while amassing 47 goals and 12 assists.champion has logged 197 appearances for the USWNT with 63 goals and 73 assists.
“Pinoe is here to stay! I think her performances last season truly showed everyone that she is one of the best players in the world,” coach Laura Harvey said. “Her loyalty and commitment to this club is unreal. I am so pleased we get to work together again and push this club to even bigger heights.”
