Ohio State will begin the season with a 3:30 p.m. game on CBS against Indiana, a noon game against Youngstown State on BTN and a 4 p.m. game against Western Kentucky on FOX.
Kickoff times and TV networks for every game in the first three weeks of the 2023 college football season were announced Wednesday, and Ohio State will begin the season with a trio of afternoon games.
The Buckeyes’ season opener at Indiana on Sept. 2 will begin at 3:30 p.m. and will be televised by CBS. Ohio State’s home opener against Youngstown State on Sept. 9 will be a noon game on Big Ten Network. The Buckeyes’ third game of the year, at home against Western Kentucky on Sept. 16, will kick off at 4 p.m. and will be televised by FOX.
As a result, Ohio State will open the season with four different game times on four different networks, as the Buckeyes‘ fourth game of the year at Notre Dame on Sept. 23 wasFollowing a bye week, Ohio State’s fifth game of the season at home against Maryland on Oct. 7 will be played in one of three afternoon time slots – noon, 3:30 p.m. or 4 p.m. – on a TV network to be determined. That game will be the Buckeyes’ Homecoming game.
Two other kickoff times have already been set for Ohio State’s 2023 season. The Buckeyes’ Nov. 11 home game against Michigan State will kick off
