Ohio State football released its status report for Saturday's game at Purdue.
TreVeyon Henderson, the Buckeyes’ starter in the first four games, is listed as questionable on the pregame status report. HeAfter the Maryland win, OSU coach Ryan Day described Henderson’s absence as precautionary. He also said earlier this week that he expected Henderson to play at Ross-Ade Stadium. It’s unknown if Saturday’s weather forecast — calling for continued rain after showers throughout the previous night — factors into the decision.
Henderson’s absence meant a bigger role for Williams. The team’s leading rusher last season, he totaled 27 yards on seven touches in last week’s win over Maryland.
